Ethnic silver ring from the KAREN tribes in Thailand / Burma. The Karen (or Kariang, or Yang or Kayin; in Italian also Cariani) constitute an ethnic group concentrated above all in Burma (where there are 4 million members) and in Thailand (which registers a presence of 400,000 individuals). Smaller groups are found in India, while their presence in the original sites of Tibet is negligible after the Second World War.
