Originally the Garuda was considered the sun god, then evolved into a half bird human hybrid. In the first paintings he has the beak of a parrot. He is the king of birds and often serves as a messenger between gods and men. Garuda is the Hindu name for the Aquila constellation. His other epipetes are: Amartaharana, Garutman, Tarksya. His attributes: the shell, the stick, the lotus and the nectar, but he can also carry the attributes of Vishnu, of which he became the mount.
In Buddhism, especially in Tibet, it became the mount of Vajrapani. In this case its attributes are a flower, a horse's head, a loop, a skin and the stick and it is represented with three eyes and three heads.
In Thailand it is called Krut and is the symbol of royalty and its exposure is granted to companies and companies that have proven to be important for the nation.
